Azpilicueta: ten years of exciting work
When we met César Azpilicueta for tea at Michelin House in Chelsea in February 2013, we could not have imagined what was brewing there. With the invaluable collaboration of Juan Mata, César was looking for a team to help him with communication. He was interested in how his figure was received by the English fans, and also how he was perceived in Spain. Also how to manage his public interventions and how to choose them.
Almost 10 years later, we can say that working with César has exceeded our expectations. It is very difficult, if not impossible, to find a more hard-working professional with such integrity and iron will, always looking out for the team first. As in communication, Azpilicueta knows that the key to success is day by day, working step by step with clear ideas. Now that his time at Chelsea is coming to an end, it is a real source of pride to see how his image is that of a true legend. An all-round sportsman faithful to his principles and at the same time always curious to learn. A philosophy that we share 100%.
The Navarrese player leaves Chelsea as a legend – the sixth player with the most appearances in the history of the ‘Blue’ team – but, above all, with an image that reflects who he really is. His more than 13 million followers on Social Media applauded his farewell to the London team for his honesty and sportsmanship.
Beyond Social Media, César Azpilicueta has promoted an optimistic and team player image in his interviews and press conferences. As Chelsea captain, he made numerous public appearances, in which he showed a progression that was also reflected in his presentation as an Atlético player.
Thank you for choosing us, César, we will continue with new challenges together!
