Eneko Delgado Ginés (January 18, 2001) is one of the most promising talents in the Basque Country. Born in Galdakao (Vizcaya), Eneko joined Real Madrid’s youth academy after shining at Danok Bat. He spent three seasons with Real Madrid, becoming a regular starter under Álvaro Benito and Raúl González. He won the UEFA Youth League in 2019-20 alongside players such as Miguel Gutiérrez, Sergio Arribas, Marvin Park, Peter Federico, Jordi Martín, and Toni Fuidas.
In the 20/21 season, just after the pandemic, he signed for Athletic Club for three seasons. He initially played for one of their reserve teams, CD Basconia in the Tercera División, becoming an important player despite his young age.
After his impressive season, Bilbao Athletic loaned him to SD Gernika in the Segunda División RFEF, where he started 32 matches and had a fantastic season. In the summer of 2023, he joined Club de Fútbol La Nucía after leaving Bilbao Athletic, Athletic Club’s reserve team.
At SD Gernika he was one of the most outstanding footballers in the category, also shining in the Copa del Rey, in which the Biscayan team was eliminated by Eibar, which made him a request of César Ferrando for the club’s debut in Primera RFEF.
On January 12, 2025, he made his debut with CD Tudelano with a notable impact: in his first match he provided an assist and was named player of the match against Barbastro.
Eneko Delgado is a left-footed midfielder, very fast and skillful in one-on-one situations. He primarily plays as an attacking midfielder, but can also drift out wide or drop back into central midfield.
In the summer transfer window of 2025, Eneko Delgado signed for CF Estepona to strengthen the midfield.
