Femaddi is the Madrid Sports Federation for Sportspeople with Intellectual Disabilities

Official website

The Madrid Sports Federation for Sportspeople with Intellectual Disabilities, Femaddi, has been using sport as a tool to improve the lives of people with intellectual disabilities for more than 20 years. In 2023 it organised competitions, meetings and courses, managing almost 3,000 licences. It covers sports as diverse as football, swimming, boccia and basketball.

We started to collaborate together with the goal of increasing the visibility of the work that is done in the Federation every day in accordance with the values.

The SpinConnect challenge was the first of the milestones in which we collaborated with Femaddi. This is an initiative that linked Las Rozas with Salamanca -with an intermediate stop in Ávila- together with a multicoloured team led by the Olympic champion Samuel Sánchez. The aim was to raise funds to create an App adapted to Femaddi users, helping them to follow and participate in the Federation’s competitions and events. We coordinated press releases and social media, achieving a very satisfactory result.
